Finland’s Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Mrs. Sirkka-Liisa Anttila met visiting China’s Minister of the State Forestry Administration Mr. JIA Zhibang and exchanged views on bilateral forestry cooperation.
Mrs. Sirkka-Liisa Anttila hosted a dinner for Mr. JIA’s delegation in the Government Banquet Hall on Friday 15 June 2007. The delegation consists of 11 members, including 6 officials from the State Forestry Administration and 5 business leaders from various companies in forestry industry.
Besides their visit to Finland’s Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the delegation also paid visit to Finnish leading forestry and paper companies as well as Viiki campus of the University of Helsinki. Mr. JIA concluded the visit and left Helsinki for Stockholm on 19 June.
