| 1st China International Auto Part Expo to be held in Beijing |

The MOFCOM plans to hold the first China International Auto Parts Expo at China International Exhibition Center in Beijing from November 29-December 1, which aims at strengthening and boosting exchange and cooperation with the international auto industry,
This expo has gained broad attention and high recognition from auto industries both home and overseas. Presently, 47 automotive associations, manufacturers and news media from both China and abroad are to participate at this event. The list includes Federal Association of Purchasing and Logistics of Germany, Automotive Industry Action Group, Automotive Parts Association of France, China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, Bosch, General Motors, Toyota, Volkswagen, Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (Group), First Auto Works, Chery, China Automotive News and so on, which have been confirmed as sponsors or co-sponsors for this expo, and will participate in all kinds of activities of this expo.
During the expo, a series of summits and professional forums will take place; meanwhile, a special intellectual property rights protection office will be set up to strengthen people’s consciousness of intellectual property rights protection and to protect legal rights and interests of exhibiting enterprises.
The China International Auto Parts Expo is an important move in the transformation of China’s automotive industry. It will play a significant role in strengthening the independent innovation capability of China’s automotive manufacturers, enhancing the international competence of China’s automotive industry and the transformation of growth mode in China’s foreign trade.
