The first Finland-China-Russia Economic Forum held in Helsinki

The first Finland-China-Russia Economic Forum was held in Helsinki On 30–31 October 2008, and the assistant Minister of Ministry of Commerce Mme. Qiu Hong addressed the opening ceremony.

The two-day forum focused on forestry, energy, environment, transportation and logistics to improve dialogue among the three countries on the development of economic cooperation and investment.

Some 250 representatives for business, administration and high-level decision-makers attended the forum. Following the Forum’s plenary sessions and roundtables, the participants were offered the possibility to familiarize themselves with Finnish companies or locations in or near Helsinki.
